Los Angeles native Sasha Minkovsky creates pieces that pull reference from history, symbols, organic shapes, and her Ukrainian heritage. She has been practicing sculpture and ceramics since 2009 and metalsmithing since 2015, weaving together the tenants of sculpture into wax carving with fine metalsmithing techniques.
She lives and works in Ridgewood, Queens.
